Research Presentation Guidelines

• Please adhere to a time limit of ~20 minutes presentation to allow time for questions and discussion.
•  Students giving 2nd-year seminars should prepare a formal talk and include background and motivation of their dissertation research, current results, and future plans.
• Those presenting research updates should focus on latest results and current mysteries and avoid repeating background material that has been recently presented by you or other members of your group.
• Overly polished presentations detract from the goal of the IBAC research updates: namely to communicate your latest findings to your colleagues in IBAC in order to seek ideas, questions, and comments. Therefore, focus on the science, the meaning of your results, and future directions and not on fancy slides.
