Ryan DeLuca - Recipient of W.W. Epstein Outstanding Educator Award
The W.W. Epstein, Outstanding Educator Award, is awarded annually to a faculty member, TA, staff, or other employee who has made a difference in education in the department.
Our ChemSAC Co-Chairs Katie Bates (PhD Candidate, Puri lab) & Zach Nguyen (PhD candidate, Minteer Lab) wrote: We have chosen Ryan DeLuca because of his impact on teaching the organic courses and mentoring graduate TAs in the department. He is able to effectively communicate fundamental materials to undergraduates, while guiding graduate students through higher-level concepts. It is obvious that he cares greatly about education.
