Curie Club Upcoming Events 2024
A century ago, Marie Curie became the first scientist ever to win 2 Nobel Prizes. Her spectacular scientific career was achieved despite the obligations of family, extreme prejudice against women, a relentless search for research funding, and the constant battle for recognition that was her due.
Curie Club was founded to help ensure that all scientists are given the opportunity to help shape the future. Curie Club hosts stimulating lectures, career development support, and lively debates to support and inspire the next generation of scientists.
Here at University of Utah we have been hosting Curie Club events since 2011, and plan to continue this tradition to inspire our future scientists.
