About me: Let me start this off by saying how much I love free food. It's my favorite part of graduate school and everyone in the lab knows it. There is not a feeling better than having a stomach filled with food that you didn't have to pay for. My favorite on-campus activities include going to seminar for the free coffee and cookies and attending the annual holiday party hosted by the department where they serve the best meatballs in the universe. I also enjoy stopping by the swap table in our department to check out the abandoned goods. Some of my notable acquisition include a toaster oven, a humidifier, and countless cans of expired canned food.
Research: I'm currently working on the generation of water-in-oil-in-water (w/o/w) droplet using microfluidic device. Our goal is to use this technology for the directed evolution of enantioselective enzyme.
